Mathematical Olympiads: Email of 2021-11-23

SUBJECT: [AMO/TT] Northern Autumn TT (for most of You) on Sat Nov 27 12-6pm in Blakers LT at UWA

As mentioned in the earlier email, this round of the TT will be run quite differently. You will do only one of O and A, whichever you nominate, and it will be marked in Sydney. Below I will tell you the paper you nominated. Some will get this email, but instead of the paper nominated, it will say 'not sitting' (you get the email, just so you are still on my mailing list). And a couple, maybe 3, will sit at Rossmoyne: one will need to confirm with their teacher. And there are a few, I just assumed were sitting. Send me an email please if that's you and you didn't want to sit it, or if you get 'alternative arrangement', please let me know what options might work for you, and I'll see if I can make it work.

The paper you nominated is:

one of: JO, SO, JA, SA, 'not sitting', 'alternative arrangement'.

If it didn't say above you are doing something different in the last line, then your venue is:

Blakers Lecture Theatre at UWA
Saturday 27 November
starting between 12 and 1pm.

This will work the usual way. I will write your name on the board as you arrive, and add 5 hours to give a finishing time, and erase your name when you leave. This time I will let you leave with the paper and give you the other paper that you didn't sit. And we will discuss JO in the training session the week starting 29 November, and hopefully SO, the week after.
