Individual Prizes and Awards

Year 9

  • 1st prize: "The School of Mathematics and Statistics (UWA) Award for Mathematical Excellence":
    Lindon Roberts (Wesley College) with a perfect score!
  • 2nd prize: Arun Isaac (St Stephen's School)
  • 3rd prize: Charles Qiu (Christ Church Grammar)

Year 8

  • 1st prize: "The Department of Mathematics and Statistics (Curtin University) Award for Excellence":
    Yita Choong (Scotch College)
    (Yita was also the top Year 8 student of WA in the Wetpac Awards for the Australian Maths Competition)
  • 2nd prize and Special prize (tie): "WA Department of Education and Training Award for Excellence for the most outstanding performance by a student at a government high school":
    Rohan Currie (Rossmoyne SHS) and Reuben Yap (Rossmoyne SHS)
  • 3rd prize: Ben Zuidersma (Scotch College)

  • 1st prize: The MAWA "Jack Bana Award for Excellence":
    Christ Church Gold - Team 1 (Thomas Liu, Charles Qiu, James Rhodes, Arthur Yao)
  • 2nd prize: Shenton College - Team 2 (Yvonne King, Caitlin Keogh, Hanming Jiang, Stuart Carr)
